Wood Cutting Board Care & Maintenance

Here are a few tips that will help you keep your cutting board in its perfect form. These wouldn’t even take a lot of your time and the results are definitely worth it!
- Simply clean your board using a damp cloth after each use.
- Air dry or towel dry it.
- Treat your cutting board with mineral oil after every 3-4 uses. It will protect the wood from getting too dry, stains and warps. Just rub some on after washing it and let it soak in.
- Do not soak the wooden cutting board in water. This goes for other wooden utensils such as spoons.
- If your board gets knife marks, sand the surface with a very fine sandpaper. Then oil the cutting board and return it to its fabulous condition.

Treat with oilAfter every 3-4 uses, apply mineral oil to the wood items, let it soak for a few hours or overnight. Wipe the excess with a clean cloth. Note: mineral oil and beeswax are a great option. |
